The photos below are from various countries and places over the last 2 months or so

Hatun Machay, near Huaraz, Peru. Last place I rock climbed in South America.

Fiesta in Cuzco, Peru. Celebrations and parades with drums and noise like this every day for 2 weeks began to

'Krosty' burger in Loja, Ecuador. Typo?
Machu Picchu at 6am to avoid the crowds.

The classic shot. Had good weather luckily. I lasted 2 hours before I got bored and left. Glad I went to see it and 'tick the box', but it was a lot of effort, expensive, and massively touristy (unsurprisingly). I am all cultured out now, and happy to sit on beaches, kitesurf, and drink cold beers for the rest of my time travelling.

More fiesta/celebrations for Inti Raymi, Festival of the sun in Aqua Calientes - a small town near Machu Picchu.

One of many south american dogs with coats. This one is for Steve Taylor.
Yesterday in Quito, Ecuador Marese and I saw a dog with an actual coat with sleeves and buttons and everything. It was denim to top it all off. Regrettably I didn't have my camera.

Terrible chicken meal in La Paz, Bolivia. Who didn't eat their soggy, sweet, deep fried and undercooked banana?

Socaire, Atacama desert, Chile. About 3800 meters.

San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.

If you click on this photo to enlarge it, you may be able to see it says on the banner that this is a university (somewhere in southern Peru I think). Almost as impressive looking as Wheatley Campus, Oxford Brookes University...

'Gran Hotel Premier' on the outskirts of Salta, Argentina. Seen better days I think.

Los Gigantes sunset, probably the only good thing about this place.

Los Gigantes near Cordoba, Argentina. Poor, crumbly/flaky rock, long walk ins, freezing cold, nothing except rock and grass for miles, poorly protected climbing. Had a great time here... This photo is Nathan just before our speed solo ascent of an easy 100 meter route to the highest point in the area.
In 5 days, this was the only route I topped out of. We soloed up with ropes tied to our backs to abseil off, then sat on the top watching condors fly around for an hour or so. Condors are absolutely incredible. Theu sit at 2 meters(?) and have a 3.2 meter wingspan. Massive.

Eefu slow spit roasting his guinea pig. The meat is quite nice but there is not much of it and more effort than it is worth getting the meat off the hundreds of tiny bones. Stick to chicken.

These lads in San Pedro, Atacama desert, Chile insisted on borrowing my laptop to skype their girlfriends in New York and update their Facebook status'.
